Al-Anon/Alateen literature and service materials help members to continue their recovery between meetings and gain insight into themselves and the principles of the Al-Anon/Alateen program. Conference Approved Literature (CAL) is written by and for our members, and goes through a thorough review process by numerous Al-Anon members to assure that it conveys the program in a consistent and comprehensive manner.
Conference Approved Literature can be bought at any of the meetings or at our local bookstore. It is also for sale in digital eBook format from Amazon, Apple Books and possibly other digital book stores.
Intergroup’s Newsletter is an electronic newsletter that is e-mailed quarterly to the Intergroup’s CMA (Current Mailing Address). It contains timely news and announcements from SCV AFG. Al-Anon members also share their recovery.
Alateen Express is the official newsletter for Alateen groups of the Northern California World Service Area of AFG, Inc, and is distributed periodically to Alateen groups. It contains information about Alateen that may be helpful to Al-Anon and Alateen groups.
Alateen Talk is Alateen’s quarterly newsletter, distributed by WSO to all registered Alateen Groups and by subscription. Alateen members share their recovery and Alateen Group Sponsors share their experience in Alateen service.
The Forum is Al-Anon’s monthly magazine distributed by the WSO at cost. The Forum may contain many personal stories of inspiration, some of which are made available each month on the WSO’s website, by authorization of the Al-Anon Family Group Headquarters, Inc.
